This release is one of our biggest to-date and brings a lot of new functionality, particularly in Agency Communications. Various bugs were also fixed across the modules with the most work being done for Claims.
For Filing Members / Business Users:
Your home page has been redesigned to include:
– Better links to Agency pages
– Notifications section that has current and archived messages for you
– Direct links to your upcoming actions
– Information banner at the bottom of the page

- Save time and avoid manual entry errors by using the new Upload button to upload a claim file! Get in touch with us for help on setting up the upload file for your system.
- Bicycle Tires and Tube bundles are now available for you to use and don’t have to be bundled with Passenger Tires.
- Use the new search functionality so you can search for past collections
For Agency Users:
We’ve revamped the Communications module and added new functionality that allows you to better communicate with your members, providing them with even more value:
- Choose your recipients for your communication by business first, then by contact. This makes it easier to target your communications.
- Use the new tag feature to tag contacts and filter on the tags when setting up a communication
- Create and send a test communication to yourself to confirm it’s as you want it
- Get more information on what exactly was sent to a user
- Add Quick Tips or other communications in the new banner on the home page to highlight campaigns or other information of interest to your members
- New flag called “Do Not Publish to Member List” allows you to exclude some organizations from the member list published on your website
We’ve provided you with additional enhancements to the Reports:
- Save time and improve productivity by having very large reports emailed to you (with a download link). This allows you to continue working in PICTUS while the report runs
- Addresses can now be ordered on certain reports, giving you more flexibility and clarity
- We added some helpful text on the Report page to remind you to check out the Help Centre “?” that provides guidance on every report parameter
- Get more from your data with our new Participants report that works for Filing and Claims
We’ve worked on some Performance Improvements so you can be more efficient:
- When switching between Filing and Claims you will be redirected to the Filing page or the Claims page, rather than the Summary page. This saves you a few clicks
- Participant and claims pages should load quicker. We will continue to work on improving this.
We’ve made some improvements to the Claims module:
- If required claim data is missing when trying to make a claim, you will be redirected to the Claim Summary page to complete missing data
- Save time with the new “Save and Create Another” button on the Distance Rate modal
- Get better data analysis with the new PI Claim Summary report that combines data from 2 tabs in the Claims Detail report
